An Italian research revealed in 2008 analyzed the positions of the fifty soft-tissue landmarks of the faces of 324 white Northern Italian adolescent boys and women to examine the functions of a group of 93 "beautiful" individuals chosen by a business casting company with those people of a reference group with standard dentofacial dimensions and proportions.
