The Asamkirche was endowed and built by the Brothers Asam, pioneering artists of the rococo period of time. The St. Anna im Lehel is the initial rococo church in Bavaria. Other baroque church buildings in the internal town include things like the Bürgersaalkirche, the Trinity Church and the St. Anna Damenstiftskirche.
