Charlotte, in opposition to all the odds, becomes expecting after acupuncture therapy but loses the newborn extremely early on. All would seem to be well, and before long Trey tells Charlotte he is prepared to check out for a newborn. Trey ultimately tells Charlotte that she shouldn't have to give up her aspiration for him, and allows her maintain their apartment just after he moves out.
