Wolves encounter cougars along portions of the Rocky Mountains and adjacent mountain ranges. In Israel, Central Asia and India wolves may perhaps come across striped hyenas, usually in disputes around carcasses. In Asia and Europe, their diet regime is dominated by wild medium-sized hoofed mammals and domestic species.
