Ayuquelén labored with the International Lesbian Information Service, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association, and the Chilean homosexual legal rights group Movimiento de Integración y Liberación Homosexual (Movement to Integrate and Liberate Homosexuals) to eliminate the sodomy regulation nonetheless in force in Chile.
