During his quest for revenge, Afro ends up killing a person in front of his adopted son in a way similar to how his father was killed in entrance of him. The baby who would grow up to be Afro Samurai observed his father, at the time the Number 1, get decapitated by Justice. They loved just about every other, and had been type to their boy or girl. No question he's a cynical, bitter child now.
