The hackathon was hosted by Hatch Labs, a NY-based startup incubator with a West Hollywood outpost. In January 2012, Rad was hired as General Manager of Cardify, a credit score card loyalty app introduced by Hatch Labs. The characteristic was recognized when Rad and Badeen, interested in gamification, modeled the aspect off a deck of cards.
