Beginning output in early 1998 for the 1999 product (the 1998 model 12 months was skipped), the Ford F-Series Super Duty consisted of the F-250 pickup truck, F-350 pickup truck and chassis taxi, and introduced the F-450 and F-550 chassis cab vans (see down below). Slotted above the customer-oriented Ford F-150, the Super Duty vehicles are an enlargement of the Ford F-Series variety, from the F-250 to the F-550.
