In 2011, a nationwide anti corruption motion India Against Corruption gathered speed in the leadership of a veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare demanding Jan Lokpal Bill. Political cartoonist Aseem Trivedi joined the campaign and started a cartoon dependent campaign, Cartoons Against Corruption to assist the movement with his art.
