After first session at the Parliament, Musharraf voluntarily transferred the powers of chief executive to Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali. With Aziz appointed as Prime minister, Musharraf transferred all govt powers to Aziz as he trustworthy Shaukat Aziz.
