State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has subpoenaed 1000's of paperwork and e-mails from Merrill Lynch that, he claims in court docket documents, demonstrate that Blodget and other analysts routinely made available glowing experiences about companies they privately dismissed as "junk" or "crap." Spitzer's office environment has subpoenaed at least four other expenditure banks.
