On sixteen July 390 BC, a Gallic military underneath the leadership of tribal chieftain Brennus, satisfied the Romans on the financial institutions of the Allia River ten miles north of Rome. The town of Rome grew from settlements all around a ford on the river Tiber, a crossroads of website traffic and trade. This brought about a difficulty, in that Rome came to have a large male populace but was bereft of women.
