I flew to the Cape recently, and was dumbfounded by how much their cabbies charge--and that's not even the worst pc. There are plenty of gasoline stations on the major highways, concern about being scammed less frequent on country roads, so fill up when you can. This stretches from Signal Hill to Cape Point furthermore encompasses the coastline for the cape peninsula.
