Based on your error concept, t sounds like both (1) you did not run cmake so the Makefile could be generated or (2) cmake exited with an mistake and as a result the Makefile was not created. 2) I have run your tutorial and after jogging "workon cv" the import cv2 statement operates wonderful in scripts. 3) When I am in the "cv" surroundings, i simply cannot run "testCamera.py" as the statement "import picamera" fails.
