In March 2009, YouTube was blocked in Bangladesh immediately after a recording of an alleged meeting amongst the key minister and military officers was posted revealing anger by the armed service on how the federal government was dealing with a mutiny by border guards in Dhaka. The ban was lifted on May 27, 2010, after the web site eradicated the objectionable articles from its servers at the request of the federal government.
