The memorial statue depicts the "father of computer science" sitting down on a bench at a central placement in the park. A plaque at the statue's feet reads 'Father of laptop science, mathematician, logician, wartime codebreaker, victim of prejudice'. A blue plaque was unveiled at King's College, Cambridge on the centenary of his delivery on 23 June 2012 and is now mounted at the college's Keynes Building on King's Parade.
