Leda’s struggles are largely internal, but I’m self-assured that Gyllenhaal’s uniquely tactile storytelling states a great offer more than terms ever could. Leda results in being obsessed with Nina, as the latter inadvertently resurfaces troubling memories of Leda’s very own distressing ordeals as a mother.
