I really diligently calculated out a template demonstrating the placement of the feet relative to the centreline of the engine. Much jigging of the thwartships place of the ft and the top of the legs at some point permitted the bolts on the shaft to slide with out force into the gearbox coupling. Everything was then tightened up and the shaft slid in and out to be certain it even now moved freely.
