If each giant-scale protest, on some stage, holds the potential for riot, then you can argue that every one protests stage the menace of violence in opposition to their target. ­Both sides of this line within the sand characterize the facility of potential violence. One side represents tyrannical rule, the opposite chaotic rebellion -- and the violence of both is usually simply provoked.
