Torba, who described himself in 2016 as a lifelong "conservative Republican Christian", was previously taken out from the Y Combinator alumni network in 2016 mainly because of harassment considerations, starting when he used "build the wall" on Twitter along with a screenshot of a publish by a Latino startup founder that read through: "being a black, Muslim or female in the Usa is likely to be quite scary".
