Around ten thousand protesters marched in Tel Aviv on Saturday evening, marking the 1-year anniversary of Israel’s social justice protests (whilst hundreds much more marched in towns throughout the state). Outside of a few notice-grabbing events like the May Day or NATO protests in Chicago, the nation’s mainstream media have all but consigned the Occupy motion to the trash bin of yesterday’s news.
