Knox returned to Scotland and preached at the church of St. John the Baptist's at Perth on 11 May on Christ cleaning the temple. The Scots Confession was produced by Knox and 5 colleagues in four days. Their organisation was sufficient in 1555 for Knox to return to Scotland.
