In the seventies, quite a few large twenties film palaces have been converted into many display venues by dividing their significant auditoriums, and often even the stage room, into smaller sized theaters. The earliest public movie screenings took spot in existing (vaudeville) theatres and other venues that could be darkened and easily dwelling an audience.
