In January 2019, YouTube officially banned movies made up of "worries that encourage acts that have an inherent danger of severe bodily damage" (such as, for instance, the Tide Pod Challenge) and video clips that includes pranks that "make victims imagine they are in bodily danger" or cause emotional distress in children.
