He performed bass guitar in a band identified as Manufactured Funk with songwriter and musician Patrick Moten. He also performed bass in his mother's band following his mom and dad divorced and he afterwards played in his father's band. He toured with previous Ikette Randi Love as Sweet Randi Love and the Love Thang Band.
