The White Walkers arrive and Jon tries to engage the Night King in single battle but is stopped when the Night King reanimates the dead to fight Jon. Jon prepares to battle Viserion, but the Night King is killed by Arya, destroying the army of the dead. One of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons, Drogon, methods Jon calmly and lets the King in the North to pet him, seemingly recognizing him as a Targaryen.
