The Scottish Liberal Democrats experienced by now accredited a motion at their 2010 spring conference calling on the Scottish Government to permit same-sex partners to marry, describing the exclusion of same-sex partners from marriage as a "discrimination that wants to close". At the Berlin Conference in 1884, Germany claimed various colonies which includes German East Africa, German South West Africa, Togoland, and Kamerun.
