A legislation criminalising revenge porn in Malta entered into drive in November 2016. Article 208E of the Maltese Criminal Code punishes whoever, with an intent to cause distress, psychological harm or damage of any character, discloses a personal sexual photograph or film without the need of the consent of the man or woman or folks displayed or depicted in this sort of photograph or film.
