Adapted from André Carl van de Merwe’s novel, Moffie tells a brutal tale with moments of beautiful respite. Anyone remotely common with the "Undine" tale knows that she’s not lying to her ex. Squint and you could probably blunder these opening times for a Lifetime movie-that is, right until the split-up finishes with Undine warning her soon-to-be-ex (Jacob Matschenz) that she’s likely to have to destroy him.
