The exhibit is a visceral blend of numerous influences and tones - from film noir to Sergio Leone Westerns to Bruce Lee to Star Trek and Wars - but by some means under no circumstances feels like a mishmash, and is held together by stunning animation, properly-drawn characters (in various senses), and a masterful jazz score by Yoko Kanno.
