The American Baptist Churches in the U.S.A, the National Council of Churches, the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference submitted briefs in support of Moon. In 1995 the Unification Movement associated organization the Women's Federation for World Peace indirectly contributed $3.5 million to help Baptist Liberty University which at that time was in economical issue.
