Based on Cheng and Guo’s (2019) assessment of roles and dynamics in GitHub contributions, I grouped some steps alongside one another into commits - variations to code or data files, concerns - opening or commenting upon problems, networking - linking linked issues and/or commits to a single an additional, and admin things to do - marking activities as complete or assigning labels to situations.
