In July 2006, the Indian governing administration ordered the blocking of seventeen internet websites, which includes some hosted on the Geocities, Blogspot and Typepad domains. In March 2011, the Government banned many internet sites, Typepad, Mobango, Clickatell, and Facebook for some time without the need of warning.
