Mick LaSalle of the San Francisco Chronicle felt the movie was much too prolonged, with unexciting and illegible motion scenes. At the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International, it was declared that the official title for the sequel was Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and that the Russo brothers would immediate the film.
