An Italian study revealed in 2008 researched the positions of the 50 delicate-tissue landmarks of the faces of 324 white Northern Italian adolescent boys and girls to compare the characteristics of a group of 93 "beautiful" folks chosen by a professional casting company with all those of a reference group with standard dentofacial dimensions and proportions.
