On September 9, 2013, an inside NSA presentation on Iphone Location Services was released by Der Spiegel. After finding out from Der Spiegel magazine that the NSA has been listening in to her individual cell cell phone, Merkel as opposed the snooping methods of the NSA with these of the Stasi. It was noted in March 2014, by Der Spiegel that Merkel experienced also been placed on an NSA surveillance list along with 122 other planet leaders.
