When it comes time for Zack and Miri to have sex on digital camera, they discover that instead of the scientific sex enacted by the actors in the other scenes, their interlude is passionate and heartfelt. Later at the espresso store where Zack works, he realizes that his manager threatened to put in a concealed digital camera, which Zack finds and decides to use to substitute their dropped movie equipment.
