After studying from Der Spiegel journal that the NSA has been listening in to her own mobile telephone, Merkel in comparison the snooping practices of the NSA with individuals of the Stasi. It was documented in March 2014, by Der Spiegel that Merkel had also been put on an NSA surveillance record along with 122 other planet leaders.
