As I read through previously right now in Aquinas, quoting Augustine (quoting Varro): "What other explanation is there for undertaking philosophy but to be satisfied?" One's joy is subjective, naturally, but the philosophy posited by Miguel Abreu has in no way been of the form that's built me joyful.
