Stuntwoman and Olympic Gold medalist Heidi Moneymaker was the motion capture actress, and recommended the designers on functional movements. The designers aimed to portray Croft with additional emotional depth, and concentrated on the character's wish to achieve the close aim of the game, culminating in killing a person of the antagonists.
