In the late nineties, the COPINE project ("Combating Paedophile Information Networks in Europe") at University College Cork, in cooperation with the Paedophile Unit of the London Metropolitan Police, designed a typology to categorize baby abuse visuals for use in the two investigate and law enforcement.
