The Games rebounded with the 1906 Intercalated Games (so-referred to as since they had been the 2nd Olympics to just take position inside the 3rd Olympiad), which were being held in Athens. The second Olympics was held in Paris. A winter season sporting activities week (it was actually 11 days) was held in 1924 in Chamonix, France, in relationship with the Paris Games held 3 months later this party turned the initially Winter Olympic Games.
