Zappa noted that one leg healed "shorter than the other" (a reference afterwards found in the lyrics of tracks "Zomby Woof" and "Dancin' Fool"), resulting in serious back pain. Upon return to the phase in September 1972, Zappa was however carrying a leg brace, had a visible limp and could not stand for really long although on stage. Zappa and Cohen then developed DiscReet Records, also distributed by Warner.
