More than a hundred parliamentarians from about 40 countries of the environment announced a resolution on the institution of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace IAPP in the National Assembly of South Korea in February 2016 at an intercontinental convention. In Uganda, the IAPP was founded in 2017 in the countrywide parliament with the participation of several legislators.
