In June, the USCCB recognized the "Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People", a detailed set of treatments for addressing allegations of sexual abuse of minors by Catholic clergy. The constitution includes pointers for reconciliation, healing, accountability, reporting, and prevention of upcoming functions of abuse.
