The film opens with a law enforcement officer (played by Cummings) speaking at his mother’s funeral, and in a single 12-minute just take, we see a guy spiraling into the commencing of a key meltdown, we master just about almost everything we require to know about him and his background, and we witness the makings of an excitingly gifted new filmmaker whose next film I’m eagerly anticipating.
