Typically, most cacti will be happier and more able to handle more sunlight than many other types of succulent. Little Missy is capable of tolerating more shade than other varieties of Sedum but will do best in partial sun.

The time it takes to recover from sunburn will vary depending on the season. The only thing you have to control is how often your succulents are watered and how much exposure to the sun.

First, identify your succulent (genera & species). Next, do a Google search to find information from online plant databases. As it is easier to remember and to identify, an iceplant can be used.

In most cases, cacti plants can easily be distinguished from other succulent plants by the presence of areoles on their surface.
