Seventh Avenue intersects Broadway. Times Square is a serious commercial intersection in central Manhattan on the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The world is bounded by West 42nd road, West 47th street, 7th Avenue, and Broadway. Before and after the American Revolution, the area belonged to John Morin Scott, a general of the new York militia, in which he served underneath George Washington.
