After Hawkins's disappearance was publicized, witnesses arrived forward to report seeing a man in an alley behind a close by dormitory on the evening of her disappearance. In the early hours of June 11, UW pupil Georgann Hawkins vanished although going for walks down a brightly lit alley concerning her boyfriend's dormitory home and her sorority household.
